The Hook

The party is crossing the Kestrel's Tooth pass — as guards, couriers, or simply travelers unlucky enough to be on the road — when a whiteout blizzard drops without warning. The only shelter within miles is a squat stone-and-timber waystation called the Wolfshead Inn, its windows already lit gold against the dark. Getting inside is easy. Getting back out, they'll soon learn, is not.
